Age Friendly Glasgow

What do we want to know?: In March this year, Glasgow City Council joined the World Health Organisation’s (WHO) “Age Friendly City” programme in order to help us ensure that Glasgow is an “inclusive and accessible urban environment that promotes active ageing”.
We believe that our participation in the WHO programme will enable us to learn from others, and allow us to build on the good practice we can already demonstrate to make Glasgow a truly age friendly city. In order to ensure we reflect the priorities of our citizens, we would like to gather your views and opinions about our current strengths as a city, and what more we can do to improve.
In November 2014, the Council hosted an engagement session with over 30 older people and related stakeholder groups. The suggestions from this session are included throughout this questionnaire.

By completing this questionnaire, you will help us set our priorities for the first stage of our participation in this programme.

The survey should take no longer than 20 minutes to complete and will be available until 10th August 2015. The information gathered will only be used for the purposes of this exercise.
