What do we want to know?: As part of the Licensing and Regulatory Committee’s ongoing review of civic licensing policy, it is considering the introduction of an upper age policy for vehicles licensed as Taxis. This policy, in general terms, would require that a vehicle licensed as a Taxi is removed from service once it reaches a certain age.

The purpose of the consultation is to gather views and opinions on whether such a policy should be introduced and, if so, how the policy should be applied.
