What do we want to know?:
Under the Gambling Act 2005 the City of Glasgow
Licensing Board has a number of important regulatory functions in relation to
gambling activity in the city. These include licensing premises such as betting
shops and bingo halls, regulating gaming and gaming machines in clubs and
alcohol licensed premises, granting permits to family entertainment centres, granting
permits for prize gaming, and registering small society lotteries.

views
In accordance with the Act, the Licensing Board must prepare, consult on and publish a policy which it proposes to apply when exercising relevant gambling related functions. We are interested in your
views on both the proposed changes to the policy statement and to the terms of
the draft guidance. Proposed changes to the policy have been highlighted in
yellow, both documents available below.

Outcome: The Licensing Board will use the information you provide as part of the public consultation to review its policy and to finalise guidance for applicants and licence holders in relation to local area risk assessments.
The final policy and guidance will be published by the Licensing Board in April 2016.
