What do we want to know?: Policy CDP1 of the City Development Plan provides an overarching context for how new development proposals should be approached and prepared to deliver successful places. This Guidance has 2 parts. Part 1 includes details of how the Placemaking approach should be embedded in preparing development proposals, ensuring the six qualities of place can be achieved. It also contains key tools to assist in responding to the development context. Part 2 of the guidance contains a set of detailed assessment criteria covering the range of topics that are designed to make Glasgow are better place, these include Residential Development, Sustainable Development, Commercial Development, Amenity and Detailed Design.
We would like to gather your views and opinions on the guidance, which will then be used to inform the final draft of the guidance.
