What do we want to know?: Policy CDP12 seeks to ensure that new development will be supported by the appropriate infrastructure relative to its nature and location. The Guidance outlines the mechanisms the Council will use to secure contributions to deliver on specified infrastructure as well as broader bespoke requirements that may emerge in a particular development or location.
It sets out the justification for infrastructure requirements including locational restrictions, the calculation methodology and the protocols for engagement and payment of contributions along with financial viability and cases where exemptions may apply.
We would like to gather your views and opinions on the guidance, which will then be used to inform the final draft of the guidance.
