The Council Corporate Procurement Strategy 2016 – 2018, is due for renewal in May 2018. The new Procurement Strategy must align to the Council Strategic Plan for 2017- 2022, Link, which sets out the priority themes and commitments that will be delivered over the next 5 years by the Council Family Group (our Services and ALEOS). It must also comply with the statutory requirements of the Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014 (known as the Act). The Act imposes a number of requirements relating to the development of a Procurement Strategy and in particular to content, publication and reporting. This includes a requirement to undertake a consultation exercise with those stakeholders who are affected by its procurements. This survey represents the second phase of the two stage consultation process with our key stakeholders. The feedback from the first phase has been reviewed and incorporated within the draft Corporate Procurement and Improvement Strategy, attached.
