Glasgow City Council is preparing a new housing strategy document for the period 2017-2022 and we will be consulting on a range of issues to make sure that the new strategy reflects our partners and communities views. 

Glasgow City Council has established a Colleges and Lifelong Learning Commission to look at barriers to participation in college learning, and identify possible solutions to tackle these barriers.

The Commission would like to ask for your views, and any available evidence that will help to better understand:

• Barriers to participation in College and Lifelong Learning
   
• Who is most affected by these
   
• Solutions to remove these barriers

The City Council has prepared a Draft Conservation Area Appraisal and Management Plan for Govan Conservation Area.  The document provides an opportunity to review the existing conservation area, identifying:

• the key features which contribute positively to the areas unique character,
• the challenges, which need to be addressed in order to protect its special architectural and historic interest,   
• suggested changes to the existing conservation area boundary, and
• recommendations for the management of the conservation area

The document is available in low resolution format, however, limited paper copies may be available on request.

In 2013, we published the Council’s first set of Equality Outcomes as part of our duty under the Equality Act 2010. An equality outcome is a result which a public sector organisation aims to achieve in order to eliminate discrimination, advance equality of opportunity and/or foster good relations between groups of people who share protected characteristics.

We are now required to develop a new set of outcomes for 2017-2021. We would like your views on our current outcomes and how we can improve the next set.

The survey should take around 15 minutes to complete.

The Youth Engagement Policy Commission would like to ask for your views, and any available evidence that will help the Commission to better understand the issues around the three areas the Commission wishes to address:

• Barriers that young people face in engaging with the City Council, other public agencies and in participating in the life of our city

• Priority issues for young people, that they would wish to engage on

• Approaches to help improve youth engagement
