What do we want to know?
The Public Bodies (Joint Working) (Scotland) Act 2014 requires local authorities and health boards to integrate planning for certain social care and community health services. The Glasgow City Integration Joint Board, upon establishment, is required by the Act to produce a Strategic Plan for delivery of those services delegated to it by the Council and Health Board and to consult on the draft of this Plan. The Act defines a range of stakeholders who must be consulted, but the intention is to consult much more widely than the statutory minimum.

What do we want to know?
As part of the Licensing and Regulatory Committee’s ongoing review of civic licensing policy, it is considering the introduction of an upper age policy for vehicles licensed as Taxis. This policy, in general terms, would require that a vehicle licensed as a Taxi is removed from service once it reaches a certain age.

The purpose of the consultation is to gather views and opinions on whether such a policy should be introduced and, if so, how the policy should be applied.

We would welcome any comments on these proposals.

What do we want to know?
A unique project set up by Glasgow City Council and One Parent Families Scotland (OPFS) wants to hear from single parents about what they think would change their lives for the better. The consultation is a response to research highlighting the negative  impact of welfare reform on single parents, 40% of all families with children  in Glasgow.  
The key aim of the project is to influence and direct positive change within partner organisations to improve services and responses for lone parents in Glasgow.
The project is funded by GCPH, NHSGGC, GCC, Health Scotland and Wheatley Group.

What do we want to know?
Glasgow City Council is carrying out a trial to explore different ways of delivering segregated cycle lanes. The trial is on Aikenhead Road, Govanhill and will be in place for a year.
We would like to gather your views and opinions about the different types of segregation methods on Aikenhead Road, and use these to inform the future direction of the cycle network in Glasgow.

What do we want to know?

We seek to understand what resilience means for the people of Glasgow, and to understand how we can be better prepared to deal with the challenges that our city faces now and in the future.

This City Conversation document has been developed through engagement with our private sector partners, businesses and members of the public. However, we still need to speak with more people to make sure that we develop a strategy that reflects the real needs and challenges of our city. Your ideas will be used to develop an action plan that will help the city to grow as a resilient place as we face the challenges of the future.

Additional opportunities to get involved will become available over the summer months, including:

- Attending Resilient Glasgow workshop to scenario plan using the Glasgow Game
- Visiting us at our Resilient Glasgow stall that will be at various events in the city during the summer
- Dropping in to our offices at 231 George Street for an informal chat about the strategy
