What do we want to know?

2015 will be Glasgow's Green Year, and the Green Year team, along with the STEP UP (Strategies Towards Energy Performance and Urban Planning) project, G-Heat, and Glasgow City Council's Environment and Sustainability teams are looking to engage with and consult Glasgow's citizens on energy and environmental issues.
 
Dear Resident,
As Leader of Glasgow City Council and Chair of Sustainable Glasgow I would like to invite you to take part in our citizens' survey on energy and environmental issues. This is a great opportunity for you to have your say on topics such as: energy, transport, green activities, tackling climate change and our plans for the city.
 
The results of this survey will help to inform the development of Glasgow’s Energy and Carbon Master Plan and will also influence planning and activities for Glasgow's Year of Green 2015.  By taking part you can support and inform actions aimed at improving the environment and sustainability in Glasgow.

Glasgow City Council is proposing to create new Parks Management Rules.
Glasgow's parks and open spaces are for everyone to use and enjoy, and these Rules are designed to encourage all parks users enjoy our parks and open spaces safely and responsibly.
We encourage park users to:
  • Take responsibility for their own actions
  • Respect other people
  • Care for the environment
  • Help safeguard parks and open spaces for future generations


The proposed management rules will be available for public inspection online or at Exchange House, 231 George Street reception.
