What do we want to know?

The Council's Development and Regeneration Services and Land and Environmental Services are carrying out a consultation on the draft Design Guide for New Residential Areas.

This is a corporate interpretation of the Scottish Government's policy document Designing Streets. The aim of the Council document is to provide developers with advice on how to obtain both planning permission and road construction consent in the most efficient manner.

What do we want to know?
Glasgow City Council in conjunction with local bus and taxi companies are carrying out the fourth annual survey of taxi drivers and bus drivers in Glasgow. We recognise that taxi drivers and bus drivers are among the most regular travellers on the city’s roads and that you have a very good knowledge of the changing condition of roads in Glasgow.
 
During 2012/13 the Council will be continuing the programme of road repairs and planned patching throughout the city. The results from this survey will help us to target the areas of greatest need and to assess the impact that our repairs programme is having.

What do we want to know?
We are pleased to present the new Glasgow City Joint Adult Services Plan 2012/13 for consultation. This Plan sets out the joint vision, objectives and priorities for change in the delivery of care and support services in order to address the needs and aspirations of vulnerable adults and older people in the City. 
 
The Joint Adult Services Plan 2012/13 also expresses a commitment to partnership working on behalf of Glasgow City Council and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.

It is intended as a reference point for all staff, service users, carers and members of the public as it outlines the most significant current and future development across service provision in Glasgow.
 
We would like to know what you think about the commitments and proposals set out in this draft Plan. All comments will be considered and will inform the final version. 

Consultation will close at midnight on 27th July 2012. A summary of feedback received will be published on Glasgow City Councils website, with the final plan in early September.
