Glasgow City Integration Joint Board – Strategic Plan for Health and Social Care in Glasgow

What do we want to know?:

Every Health and Social Care Partnership in Scotland has to produce a Strategic Plan. A Strategic Plan is a document that sets out our vision and our priorities for health and social care services in Glasgow City.  It includes details of what we plan to do to deliver our vision and the difference this will make to people living in the city, how we will achieve our priorities and which of the National Priorities of the Scottish Government our actions will meet.

As the population of Glasgow changes, the health and social care needs of the City also changes.  This means that we cannot keep delivering services the same way.  A Strategic Plan allows us to look at the needs of the population of Glasgow City.  We will then shape our plan around these needs and this helps us identify what our priorities for the next three years should be.  We write a draft plan and ask our service user and patients, the public, our staff and any organisations we work with, whether they think the plan will meet their needs not just for now but for the next three years.  We listen to what people tell us, and then produce our final Strategic Plan for 2019-22.

We would really like to hear your views on our draft Strategic Plan.  We have a short survey that we would like you to complete to tell us what you think of it.  If you would like to give us your views then you can complete the online survey, which should take no more than 10 minutes.
