What do we want to know?: As part of the Connecting Yorkhill and Kelvingrove active travel project it is proposed to introduce permanent two-way cycle tracks on Gilbert Street, Haugh Road, Radnor Street, Sandyford Street and Yorkhill Street Connecting Yorkhill and Kelvingrove is an ambitious area-based project that will see the delivery of improved public spaces and segregated cycle infrastructure on strategic routes. Further, the project will create new connections to nearby existing active travel infrastructure to make walking, wheeling and cycling more comfortable, attractive and safe for people living in, and travelling through, the area. At the heart of the Connecting Yorkhill and Kelvingrove project is a focus to work with the local community to improve streets and public spaces for walking, wheeling and cycling to reduce the dominance of road traffic.
